A quick visit to London

A quick visit to London in between Christmas and New Year to catch up with my Son & Daughter in law. Saw the re-mastered version of 'The Red Shoes' at the BFI and a lovely meal.

London looking very pretty with all the Christmas lights.

Chelmsford in the snow.

View across the fields from Linda & Graham's home on a late afternoon.

Fergus ...kept him on the lead so as not to lose him in the snow!

I seem to be missing a leg!

Linda & Graham's cottage...fabulous.
View looking across to their home...very picturesque...with snow or without!

Changing sky.

Oh No! Fergus is off the lead!! He does actually run away this time but fortunately for me finds his way home! Phew!!

Christmas at Parents

Boxing Day Tea time with family

View from The Hermitage to Parents house.
..and down the otherway!
A lovely Dulux dog that wanted to play in the snow.

View of the Hermitage.

We have a b&w picture from years ago with my Aunt Iris and Mum sitting on these steps with my brother Ian in the pram...fifty years ago..must try and find it...nostalgia...aah!

The lake that used to have swans on..sadly not anymore!

The Hermitage that used to be a rehabilitation centre for miners in ill health many years ago...and now luxury apartments...sign of the times!
