We have a b&w picture from years ago with my Aunt Iris and Mum sitting on these steps with my brother Ian in the pram...fifty years ago..must try and find it...nostalgia...aah!
The lake that used to have swans on..sadly not anymore!
The Hermitage that used to be a rehabilitation centre for miners in ill health many years ago...and now luxury apartments...sign of the times!
