I have a wonderful 8 minute video of the fireworks which I will put on the blog as soon as I find out 'how to'?? The stills will have to do for now:-).

About video: need to check if your laptop/computer has the facility to allow you to capture and store the video you have acquired through your camera.
If the answer is yes, then you will end up with a reasonably big size file on your hard drive which now needs to go on the web - after you apply some compression to it : )
To edit further this video and compress it - assuming your laptop has the facility to connect to your digital camera - then normally one needs some kind of software.
Now, this may or may not be an issue depending on what is available for free for you to download and use.
Please give me some time to look into this.
