Status Quo in Carcassonne July 7th

A fabulous evening with friends at the Jean Deschamps theatre inside La Cité in Carcassonne, listening and rocking to Status Quo. They were fantastic. It was a cool evening and the rain stayed away... so we didn't get soaked like the fans of Depeche Mode the evening before!!
I will remember this date as we celebrate three birthdays and a wedding anniversary on the same day in the same household...my brother, his wife and daughter (my niece)!
Rick Parfitt, Francis Rossi, John Edward, Matt Letley (drums) Andy Brown on the Keyboard.
Brilliant lightning.

Amazing Matt Letley on the drums

Rock on Status Quo!!

Depeche Mode in Carcassonne

Amazing how this grew day by day. A huge team of construction workers made it happen. Well done lads!

Drat! No tickets left!! Only joking...not my era! We'll just have to be content to see Status Quo tomorrow;-).

Having a tea break! It's what we call in the UK ' High Tea' :-))

There's always one nosey neighbour!

Rather them than Me!! No safety harnesses either!!

A few thousand people inside the arena and a few hundred outside...for free...we were among them:-).

Depeche Mode says goodbye to Carcassonne. Fabulous weather for weeks and tonight it chucked it down!
